Senior Manager, Product Installation

This role provides technical management and oversight for the installation phase of the Omnicell range of Robotic Dispensing Solutions (RDS). The role is ultimately responsible for ensuring that quality, budget and customer expectations are The ideal candidate will have relevant installation management experience and a track record of installation and commissioning of other robotic/automation solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain effective Installation Programs and Processes

  • Develop and deploy product specific customer training programs

  • Ensure that the installation team is trained and competent in all aspects of their duties and are monitored in the same

  • Develop relevant metrics to monitor the compliance and effectiveness of the installation team.

  • Manages and monitors the effectiveness of training programs

  • Drives improvements to the NPS through constant monitoring and improvement of customer feedback.

  • Key contributor to the product launch team to define launch requirements for personnel and customers.

  • Liaise and co-operate with other regions and departments to ensure smooth installation experience.

Essential

  • Over 5 years of working within the areas of automation/robotics commissioning.

  • Minimum 3 years of management/supervisory experience.

  • Strong electromechanical skills and working from complex drawings

  • Proven ability in fast learning of specific requirements of complex operations

  • Strong background in the areas of automation, PLC’s, conveyor technology and software configuration

  • Ability to effectively present information to public groups, operations personnel, technical personnel and Sr. Management

  • Persuasive and effective communication skills.

  • Must be fluent in German and English and be able to read and write at an accomplished level.

  • Willingness to travel 40-50% of time.

Desirable

  • Previous and substantial experience in a healthcare/medical device company (Pharmacy automation)

  • Experience working in remote teams.

  • Ability to speak French highly advantageous.
