Omnicell has an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to support several of our Technical Assistance Centers (TAC) providing data analytics on customer service issues, as well as operations, in order for our leadership team to make more informed decisions. This position can be based in EITHER our CranWoods location in Cranberry Township, PA or in the greater Chicago area.
Perform data analysis on data related to customer service. Find hidden trends and relationships in the data.
Develop timely, innovative, objective analysis which leads to fact-based solutions for strategic customer service issues. Identify, formulate, and drive problem definition and hypothesis formulation as it relates to the customer service business environment. Synthesize externally syndicated data with internal experience.
Responsible for delivering insights, findings and analysis based solution options. Effectively communicates logic, key assumptions and technical processes supporting the analytic solutions.
Responsible for maintenance and optimization of tools that support operations.
Collaborate closely with service business managers to provide business decision support and analytics to appropriate levels.
Act as subject matter expert and advisor on topic of analytical tools, enterprise data systems and/or analytical methodologies for the company.
Build and create processes and tools to make data more accessible.
Identify data source deficiencies among company data and suggests path to resolve.
Collaborate with colleagues and counterparts within business and information technology to formulate ideas for analytics collaboration.
Responsible for managing external vendors and collaborate with IT to manage Omnicell systems and tools that collect and store customer service data.
Create and support customer service compliance methodologies such as ISO.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Experience with data extraction, data mining, data acquisition, and data profiling.
Experience with analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems
Experience in performing data analysis and data management activities.
Knowledge of statistical concepts.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics/analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Accounting/Finance, or Information Systems/Information Technology or equivalent experience.
3+ years’ experience in this field.
Six Sigma Green belt/Black belt Certification
Advanced level skill in analytic tools such as Business Objects, Tableau, JMP, MiniTab, MS SQL, SAS or other statistical software.
Experience with system administration (C4C, ECC, ERP, Process Weaver, SharePoint, Wikis and other collaboration tools)
Experience in supporting Customer Service functions such as Reverse Logistics, Technical Support, Service Contracts, and Field Service.
Experience developing and delivering presentations to various audience levels within an organization
Advanced level skill in Microsoft Access (for example: modifying default field properties, creating a sub-form, adding a control button, modifying query criteria and query totals, using conditional formatting and/or viewing data relationships.
Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using AVERAGE function, merging and centering cells, printing centered page and/or creating a pivot table).
Knowledge of advanced statistical concepts and data mining techniques such as: logistic and linear regression, segmentation techniques, optimization and time-series forecasting.
