Marketing Manager, International

The Marketing Manager, International will be responsible for the upstream marketing activities and international commercial planning for the Automation and Analytics product line.

Essential Functions:

  • Assess and quantify opportunities for new technologies in international markets

  • Conduct VOC (focus group, surveys, etc) and develop international market requirements for new technologies

  • Develop international customer database and product analytics in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Deliverables will play an important role in the full cycle of marketing management – product concept, development, commercial launch, pricing and end of life management.

  • Drive program management and strategy to support international sales team

  • Assist in the development of business case to justify the investment, and manage the process to gain approval for project funding

  • Assist in the planning and execution of international tradeshows with country business partner or independently as needed; coordinate customer interviews and focus group activities at international and US conferences.

  • Assist division in developing international marketing and strategic plan

  • This position will require the Marketing Manager to leverage both clinical and market knowledge to identify emerging, unmet needs; evaluate options and propose international growth opportunities.

  • The successful candidate will help create and drive the overall short- and long-term strategy, work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to drive new product development activities, deliver launch excellence to drive revenue, as well as ensure collaboration with US Marcom & OUS Regional marketing counterparts to support new product launch activities. He/she will develop sustainable relationships with worldwide Sales, Marketing, and Regional leadership.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience creating product commercialization strategies, programs and tactics for new market products.

  • Strong creative skills, ability to conceptualize and execute innovative marketing approaches.

  • Ability to work collaboratively at multiple levels of the organization, including product management, sales, and operations.

  • Experience and skills in building strong partnerships with cross functional teams such as sales, marketing, R&D, operations, and/or other key functional stakeholders to deliver business objectives.

  • Strong communication and influencing skills

  • Ability to handle multiple projects with various degrees of complexity and ambiguity.

  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and be accountable for results.

  • Passion for transforming the healthcare experience, both for healthcare professionals and patients.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 2 or more years’ of experience in a marketing or product management role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or other advanced degree

  • 5 or more years of experience in international marketing or product management role

  • Experience in medical device industry or other area of healthcare with previous product commercialization

  • Strong analytical abilities and a solid understanding of the P&L to develop strategies and programs to drive increases in revenue and profits.

  • Experience interacting or collaborating with healthcare professionals.

  • Language requirement: English – additional language(s) a plus (French/Spanish, etc)

Work Conditions:

  • Up to 30% travel may be required for this position, domestic/international.

  • This position can be based out of Omnicell Headquarters in Mountain View, California or our Omnicell office in Pittsburg, PA.
