As a result of our growth strategy in the UK, we are currently recruiting for a Project Implementation Manager who will be ourproduct expert with responsibility for the planning and management of one or a number of projects on which he/she also has direct involvement with the implementation. You will be actively involved in the setup, configuration, database preparation, testing, and training and go live. You will also promote Omnicell best practices and clinical workflow discussions. In addition, you will have a number of teams working on implementations and the role includesresponsibility for day to day current quarter planning, forecasting and business processes.

To be successful in this role, you must have previous experience in the commissioning of automation equipment in a warehouse or point of sale setting would be advantageous, or equally, a successful background in hospital IT implementations, preferably clinical systems / software in the acute care market.

Essential Functions:

  • Produces and maintains an accurate suite of project documentation including project plans, risk registers, issue logs, change logs (and more) throughout the course of projects

  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Works closely with implementation consultants and technical teams to execute all activities as outlined in the project plan

  • Subject matter expert and product consultant for Omnicell solutions

  • Clinical workflow analysis and consulting based on Omnicell solutions which includes clinicians and individual departments (Nursing, Pharmacy, Theatres, Materials Management, etc.)

  • Omnicell preparation, application and hardware configuration and database requirements and setup

  • Provides best practice advice and input for customer process discussions

  • Assist with procedural changes needed for the technology change

  • Responsible for integrated application testing; provide feedback to analyst on required changes

  • Nurse preceptor training

  • Provides customer implementation support as needed

  • Hosts and attends project meetings and steering meetings as appropriate to each installation

  • Supports our customers during implementation by helping to define the appropriate project governance structure to make the project a success

  • Reports implementation activity and risk escalations on a weekly basis

  • Performs required tasks to ensure timely go live and customer satisfaction

  • Manage time and resources effectively to meet company objectives

  • Performs go live support as per the project scope

  • Obtaining signed customer acceptance

  • Customer and internal communications

  • Maintaining strong industry and product knowledge

  • Revenue management and focus on “in quarter” forecast accuracy, efficiency and revenue development

  • Assist in the leadership, mentoring and coaching employees. Providing them with the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to be successful

  • Participates in : manufacturing demand forecasting, implementation best practices, process/workflow consulting and employee education

  • Collaboration with field operations managers to ensure process standardization relating to project team responsibilities

  • Participant in sales pre contract activities as required e.g developing plans for tenders

  • Assist in developing and executing effective practices, tools and standards for implementations

  • Establishes strong relationships at all levels within clients and prospective customers

  • Timesheet approvals and overtime tracking

  • Expense reporting and approvals

  • Recruits, hires and develops in a high performance region

  • Maintain strong industry and product knowledge

  • Participate in company strategic initiatives and special projects, as needed

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Wide product based knowledge, strong base in supply chain, interfacing and databases preferable

  • Ability to facilitate in-person and via webinar with a high level of learning effectiveness and satisfaction by participants

  • Strong negotiation/problem solving skills

  • Outstanding interpersonal, written and oral communication skills

  • Detail-oriented, independent and able to adjust to changing priorities

  • Ability to work collaboratively and enjoy working in a fast-paced technical environment

  • A self-starter

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Project, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • Must be able to travel frequently

Ideal Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with project management in automation, software deployment or healthcare

  • Can demonstrate working successfully to achieve a significant objective with a team of direct or indirect reports

Work Conditions:

  • Field Based position

  • Whilst we aim to assign members of the team to work locally to their home base, travel will be required as the work dictates.

  • Irregular work hours may be required to meet the needs of the customer
