Pharmacy Sales Consultant

The Pharmacy Sales Consultant plays a critical role in educating potential customers on the advantages of our pharmacy solutions. Additionally you will work closely with field sales to provide your clinical knowledge during the sales cycle.

Accompany members of sales organisation to meetings with potential customers to provide a working clinical knowledge of Omnicell solutions

  • On occasion, for corporate contract proposals, based on walk-through results and drug use data provided by potential customers, prepare a detailed configuration that addresses the proper amount and type of equipment to accommodate the customer's needs

  • Develop the knowledge of the sales organisation in areas of pharmacy practice, hospital internal organization and equipment utilization

  • Work with the Marketing to determining practice trends and providing feedback from the field to assist in new product development

  • Act as a liaison between the Marketing department and the Engineering department to provide clinical input from the field.

  • Act as the lead for RxC training initiatives as well as being the point person for any IT/Marketing issues related to RxC support tools

  • Attend appropriate trade shows at the national and international level

  • Build relationships with existing corporate customers and assist in troubleshooting issues they may have, and work to improve their products uses and experience

  • Lead specific projects as identified by the organisation.

  • Assist with providing education and content to other Omnicell employees as required to assist in market development

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • B.S. in Pharmacy, Pharm.D. or Master’s Degree desirable

  • 5 or more years of experience in a management position of a health system pharmacy

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work well with customers and with employees at various levels.

  • Experience in the operation of decentralized and/or centralized pharmacy automation equipment and software

  • Ability to travel 75% of the time

Work Conditions:

  • Base flexible though Omnicell offices are in Paris and Strasbourg
